The fossils within Turritella agate date back to the Eocene epoch, around 50 million years ago. This provides insight into the ancient marine ecosystems of that time.<br> <br> The Cabochon measures 32mm x 18mm x 7mm and weighs 30 Carats<br> <br> You can buy the Cabochon exactly as pictured (perfect for silversmiths, collectors, wire wrappers or jewellers) or we can drill the stone, fit a bail and a waxed cord or Sterling Silver Chain (which can easily be removed if you prefer to use your own chain).
