Aurora Opal Cushion Cut Cabochon, Lab Created Opal<br> <br> Aurora Opal is a lab created Opal which offers an affordable lightweight alternative to natural Opal with some amazing patterns and play of colour. This cabochon has colours of blue, purple and black. It has a domed face and flat back. 'In the hand' this cabochon is a lot darker than in the photographs and is a true blue/black (the purple only shows under led lighting).<br> <br> It is extremely hard to photograph and show the full spectrum of colours, so we try to photograph the cabochons with different backgrounds and the majority of our customers comment that the cabochon looks far nicer 'in the hand' than they expected.<br> <br> As with all of our cabochons it is finished and highly polished on all sides making it perfect for incorporating in jewellery.<br> <br> The Cabochon measures 14mm x 14mm x 5mm and weighs 5 Carats<br> <br> You can buy the Cabochon exactly as pictured (perfect for silversmiths, collectors, wire wrappers or jewellers) or we can drill the stone, fit a bail and a waxed cord or Sterling Silver Chain (which can easily be removed if you prefer to use your own chain). Simply select your preferred choice from the options available. <br> <br> Please note: we drill the stone based on the orientation shown in the main photo.
